Breakfast at Hearthside Bed & BreakfastBreakfast at our B&B is a special time. Wake up to the smell of fresh brewed coffee, and something good baking in the oven. Join the other guests around our large dining table or eat a leisurely breakfast outside on our porch. Frequent comments heard are that there is too much to eat! Each day we offer a wonderful hot dish. Some of our most popular entrees are Heavenly Apple French Toast, Hash Brown Pie, Barry's Fantastic Eggs Benedict or Blueberry Blintze Souffle. There is also a fresh fruit bowl or fruit course, homemade granola and other cereals, bagels and English muffins, homemade cakes and muffins, juice, tea and coffee. This is the time to plan your day. Learn about what Acadia National Park, Bar Harbor and Mount Desert Island has to offer, either from the other guests or from your hosts, Barry and Susan. Find out about biking and hiking trails, where to see seals and whales, or where to have the best lobster dinner on the island.
